- Correspondence Sent and Received: Reviewed the response to our letter of December 8/15 to the PEI Regulatory and Appeals Commission provided by Matthew Jelley, Cavendish Sewer Utility.
- Road Fees Accounting and Discussions: Roads are in great shape after grading by G. MacEwen. Peter met with Elmer Newson to review the expenses for Road Maintenance to obtain some clarity with regard to some of the items expensed. Main desire is to establish a good working relationship with Elmer and to encourage development of a plan for road maintenance to ensure major road issues/concerns are able to be addressed moving forward.
- Committees Discussions:
- Internet: Peter looking into Eastlink and any improvements with Aliant?
- Web Page: Janet MacDonald has volunteered to help with this committee. Diane to contact her.
- Membership drive: We will approach as a group with each member of the Exec taking a portion of the development. Obtain address/email updates as well as solicit membership.
- Road Signs & Maintenance: Dick, Joe and Bob working this. Will prepare proposal of what signs are needed and costs.
- Directory update: Peter has kept track of emails that are out of date. Diane to get his listing and update/track down new email addresses. Also check with Brenda to cross check with her info on owners to see if she has more up to date information than what is on our listing. Include contact info review with Membership drive once initial update is completed.
- Membership Fees: Fiscal Year is Jan 1 to Dec 31. Dues paid count towards current year. By Laws stipulate voting members are only those who are paid up to and including current year.
- Other:
- Lockhart Picnic to be held on August 7th afternoon at Crozier Cottage. Parking will be on Seawood Drive shoulder and overflow to green space beside pond if needed. Previously reviewed by Spud Crozier with Elmer Newson.
- Status update on Sale of Development? Nothing to report.
